Alice was born in Leeds and has lived in Horsforth all of her life with a big family of four sisters, one brother and two boxer dogs.

Alice joined The White Rose Academies Trust at the beginning of October 2018, after working in a Pharmacy for two years training to be a qualified dispenser. Before this, Alice studied three a-levels at Horsforth High Sixth Form; Psychology, PE and IT.

​

Since joining The White Rose Academies Trust as an Apprentice Business Officer, Alice has worked in a range of different roles. From working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Whitaker and other Central Trust colleagues, supporting with big projects and working closely with The Trust Student Leadership Group, to working as the Principal’s PA at Leeds East Academy, providing secretarial and administrative support to the Principal. 

 

Alice moved on to work as a Trust Project Manager, managing two Industrial Placement colleagues. In June 2021, Alice was successful in interviewing for the Trust Project Lead role where she worked closely with the Head of Marketing, Communications and Projects on large projects such as, designing new websites and marketing campaigns.

Alice has now been working as a Governance Manager since January 2023, clerking the Trust's Local Accountability Board's, overseeing policies for the Trust and dealing with governance matters.

​

Outside of work, Alice loves to spend time with friends and family and enjoys attending fitness classes at her local gym.
