Michael is a Director of IT with over 20 years of experience in the industry. His career spans both the private and public sectors, with a particular emphasis in the education space. He has been both directly employed within education establishments, as well as with respected education-focused IT managed service providers. Michael is an IT leader dedicated to providing exceptional service to customers and transforming digital landscapes. 

 

His primary responsibilities include: 

 

• Leading on IT strategy implementation and Digital Strategy Groups 

• Executive sponsor for the IT managed service provider and all IT contracts. 

• Managing regulatory compliance, including policies and procedures. 

• Quality Assurance of IT & Digital against the Department for Education (DfE) digital and technology standards 

• Identifying technologies and efficiencies to help local leaders optimally manage their IT budgets 

 

Outside of work, Michael is married and has two primary school-aged daughters, and a cat named Rambo.
