Lucy Paddy has extensive leadership and management experience in both educational and commercial settings. Lucy has worked for one of the largest construction companies in Europe working on major projects throughout Yorkshire & Humber as a Project Lead.

Lucy first began working in schools 2011 and during this time took a lead role in finance working actively with the Finance Director, Senior Leadership Team and Governors.  During Lucy’s time in education, her role developed with experience, where Lucy applied her skills in project management and leadership to support other areas of the school. Lucy took a lead role in capital projects and whole school strategies on engagement with the wider community.

Lucy continued to develop her skills by completing the Certificate in School Business Management, (CSBM) in 2013, enabling her to go on to managing her first Primary School in 2015, as a School Business Manager.  Lucy has since then completed the Chartered Body for Project Management PFQ SCQF level 6 and has been an Independent Consultant, working across federation of primary schools, providing Business & Operational Management services to support schools to develop robust working practices.

In April 2022, Lucy secured the role of School Business Manager at Leeds West Academy, committed to the principles of Leeds West Academy Roadmap and providing an excellent education for all Students.  In addition to her current role, Lucy is currently managing a £5.3M Million expansion building project and a £676K Hockey Turf Pitch development

In her spare time Lucy enjoys spending time with her children, friends and family
