Job Title: Assistant Principal - Behaviour and Attitudes

Grade: L13 to L17 (£66,919 to £73,819)

Hours: Full Time

Accountable to: Senior Assistant Principal

  

This is an extremely exciting time to be joining Leeds City Academy, one of the most rapidly improving schools within the Leeds area and county of West Yorkshire. We are an 11-16 academy and one of four schools within White Rose Academies Trust, a trust recognised nationally for its ground-breaking and transformational impact on the lives of the young people it serves. The academy had a Section 5 Inspection in May 2019 achieving an overall Good judgement with Leadership and Management judged as Outstanding.

Role: 


In this role you will be required to collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to enhance student behaviour and attitudes within and beyond the academy day. 

  

You will play a leading role in the strategic and operational oversight of the Leeds City Academy Unified Approach to Behaviour and Attitudes strategy so that students exhibit:

 

·       improved behaviour for learning within curriculum lessons

·       display increasingly impressive conduct, interaction and self-regulation during

transitions and social times

·       the six ‘In Partnership Values’ throughout their time at the academy
